The role will be responsible for delivering high-quality technical inputs across project design and development stages, ensuring alignment with international engineering standards and client requirements.<br>The position will report directly to the Divisional Manager based in India and will collaborate closely with regional teams to support project delivery and business growth in the African market.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Core Responsibilities:<\/strong><br>\u2022 Coordinate project activities with the India office to ensure timely delivery and quality outputs.<br>\u2022 Develop initial PV system concept of plant layout, which shall essentially include technology assessment, tilt-pitch optimisation, DC overload analysis, long-term energy yields analysis and project economics for optimum LCOE.<br>\u2022 Lead and manage the execution of advisory assignments in renewable energy projects.<br>\u2022 Support preparation and review of technical reports and project documentation.<br>\u2022 Participate in client interactions and support project discussions.<br>\u2022 Lead site visits of feasibility projects (Africa region) and gather information for design and identify critical implementation risks.<br>\u2022 Support the engineering project with conceptual designs.<br>\u2022 Maintain awareness of new product technology and communicate pertinent developments with colleagues.<br>\u2022 Support the Company\u2019s solar PV business development activities.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Qualifications, Experience and Competencies<\/strong><br>\u2022 Bachelor&#8217;s Degree in Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) \/ Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Electrical \/ Electronics Engineering<br>\u2022 Minimum of 2-4 years\u2019 experience in the renewable energy sector, with a strong background in technical advisory and engineering consulting or related(project development environment), with at least 1 year of relevant consulting experience in Renewable Energy is essential.<br>\u2022 Demonstrated exposure to renewable energy projects (solar, wind, and\/or hybrid systems preferred) from a consulting background<br>\u2022 Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders<br>\u2022 Solid understanding of the full project lifecycle (from feasibility through to execution), with experience supporting or delivering large-scale projects of 200MW+ capacity.<br>\u2022 Good report writing and presentation skills<br>\u2022 Ability to quantify risk and opportunities in due diligence projects and new design &amp; PV<br>\u2022 technologies.<br>\u2022 Strong coordination and communication skills; fluency in English is required, and proficiency in French is an added advantage<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br><strong>Remuneration\/Benefits:<\/strong><br>A competitive salary is on offer, based on skills, qualifications and experience.<br>To apply, please send your updated CV in Word format to info@epafrica.co.ke.
